Accommodation

Our yurt camp offers a wonderful outdoor camping experience without compromising on comfort or the hassle of bringing and putting up camping equipment. All our yurts are furnished with a super comfortable double bed, fluffy feather duvets and pillows, sheepskin rugs, lanterns and a woodburning stoves to keep you nice and cosy in the evenings. There are sofa beds in all the yurts and the family yurts have bunk beds for children.

Firewood is provided for the yurts and shepherds hut but please scavenge for wood for the firepit. Please bring your own charcoal for the BBQ and your own towels for the showers. Linen is provided for the double bed, so please bring sleeping bags for the bunks / futons or request to rent linen at £10/person.

Each yurt has a separate open air kitchen area handcrafted from trees grown on our farm. The kitchen has all you will need for your stay with gas rings to cook on, a toaster, kettle, fridge, mugs, pots, pans, plates and utensils. There is also a barrel BBQ you can use and a fire pit for a bonfires under the stars. There is a communal shower / toilet block with plenty of hot water.

The Fisherman’s and Woodland Retreats are basic wooden cabins located in a birch woodland on the hill section of our family farm. The cabins have an open plan living room / kitchen area with a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings in and large windows leading out onto a balcony area.

The cabins sleep 4 people in a double and a twin room. There is a bath with electric shower in Fishermans and a walk in shower in Woodland.

• Your first basket of wood is provided but thereafter please bring or buy your own logs from the BP garage.

Our hand-crafted Shepherds hut is furnished with a comfortable double bed, fold down table and chairs and a mini wood burning stove. You can open the huts stable doors and look straight out at the view of the North face of Ben Nevis from the comfort of your bed. There is also a covered outdoor space next to the hut which provides shelter from the elements and basic cooking facilities.
